National Scout Jamboree

The National Scout Jamboree is held roughly every four years at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. Jamborees are incredibly fun, with a wide range of programs. You can go whitewater rafting, check out the Sustainability Treehouse, shoot a large variety of guns and bows, and more! The Jamboree counts as a Tier III adventure.

Venturers are able to attend the Jamboree as part of a council-organized crew. The Blue Grass Council will organize a contingent for each Jamboree, generally including both a Boy Scout troop and a Venturing crew. In order to attend, Venturers will need to sign up with the council contingent.

The next National Scout Jamboree will be in 2021, and registration information is available on the Jamboree website, http://bsajamboree.org.
